VISIT AT THE DANISH CATTLE RESEARCH CENTRE

At the Danish Cattle Research Centre (DKC) we arrange visits for groups with special interests in livestock and cattle research. If you are interested in cattle or have other areas of interest, please contact Steen Henrik Møller.

Visiting rules for the Danish Cattle Research Centre

  • Visits to the Danish Cattle Research Centre can only take place by appointment.
  • As we want to maintain a high health status in our barns, overshoes and plastic working coats will be handed out on arrival. Overshoes and coats should be put on before entering the barns.
  • A visitors’ protocol is maintained in order to have contact information for all visitors.
  • To avoid risk of infection visitors are not allowed to touch animals or feed.
  • Visitors are not allowed to stay in front of the animals, in the feeding passages, with the animals or in the calf house.
  • To avoid transmitting diseases from abroad, foreigners and Danes who have been abroad should have stayed in Denmark for at least 48 hours prior to the visit.
  • Barriers and instructions from the staff should be respected.
  • Smoking is not allowed in staff building and barns.
  • All visitors should use hand disinfection (spirit) when leaving the barn.

We look forward to welcoming you at the Danish Cattle Research Centre.
