I research the origins of bacteria in milk, whether they primarily come from the cow, the milking equipment, or the surrounding environment. My work focuses particularly on mastitis in dairy cows and applies whole genome sequencing (WGS) to map and understand the origin, variation, and significance of these bacteria.
