During my academic carrier, my main responsibilities have been devided into two part: 1) to develop and drive research on animal nutrition, with focus on lipids, fatty acids, and vitamins nutrition and metabolism and 2) teaching in area of lipids, fatty acids, and vitamins nutrition. In my career, major research areas have been fat and fatty acid metabolism, in vitro methods for evaluation of feed value and heat treatment as an approach to alter site of nutrient digestion in ruminants, and improving the fatty acid profile of dairy products.
