In his PhD project, Victor investigated adoption of biosecurity practices in more than 50 commercial dairy herds and Victor examined 10,000 cows for digital dermatitis.
The new research findings contribute to knowledge regarding the biosecurity practices that may decrease the negative impacts associated with digital dermatitis in dairy herds.
The findings also provide insights into the biosecurity status in Danish dairy herds and aspects that may be considered in developing optimized biosecurity recommendations for farmers.
