The food and agricultural sector is one of the most important Danish industries – financially as well as in relation to employment – not least due to the close cooperation between research environments, authorities and the industry.
Aarhus University is a world-leader in food and agricultural research; and within the framework of DCA – Danish Centre for Food and Agriculture the university has entered into an agreement with the Ministry of Environment and Food of Denmark on the provision of research-based policy support within this field.
You can read more about DCA policy support and the supporting research efforts in the annual report for 2015 that was recently published.
The annual report aims to give all interested in food and agriculture an insight into the past year’s activities within the centre’s core areas and to visualize the very central role of research in relation to managing and solving problems within the agricultural and food areas.
