AU-Viborg – Research Centre Foulum received a visit from Vietnam
A group of the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration’s collaborators in Vietnam has visited AU Viborg – Research Centre Foulum.
The background for the visit at the Department of Animal and Veterinary Sciences was that last week, the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration guided a Vietnamese group of collaborators who have travelled around the country, focusing mainly on feed rules, control and collaborations.
During their visit at AU Viborg, the Vietnamese delegation received an introduction to the collaboration between the administration and research, as well as short presentations of ongoing research projects.
Among other things, the guests received a presentation on insect research by Head of Section, Jan Værum Nørgaard, from the Department of Animal and Veterinary Sciences (ANIVET) at Aarhus University, which the delegation was particularly interested in.
The visit was concluded with a tour of the department’s intensive cattle experiment facilities by Professor Peter Lund from ANIVET.
